With a background in history of Art, she takes inspiration from often unconventional feminine silhouettes focusing her designs on gender issues; she derives inspiration from artists whose works deal with the perception of object in space:
“My designs explore the ever-evolving link between body and space and strive to use new and different raw materials which encourage people to find different meanings for everyday things and shapes”.
Using carefully sourced fabrics that emphasis texture by embroidery, prints and crafts, Shir’s garments are trying to give a fresh vibe to
what is between Activewear and Tailoring, all while exploring
the boundaries of gender identity.
